The Hawaiian Islands are very beautiful. There are many islands. The Big Island has more than 266 miles of coastline. There are many beaches and most of them are called “beach parks” which means that they have facilities. Hawaiian islands have unique ecosystem. The beaches have many kinds of material. There is the black sand that has formed from the erosion of basalt or formed when lava flow comes in contact with sea.

You will also find coral rubble in Hawaiians islands made of fragments of coral and coral heads.
Among other parks on Hawaiians islands you have many parks. The Ahalanui Park is relatively unknown. This is a county park offering a natural geothermally heated pool. The pool is also life guarded. The warm pool has the shade of hau trees. The water has warm and comfortable temperature. The islands are special. Some of them have green sand and some others have white sand. | Hawaii hotels post record profits this year |

Hawaii hotels had a great time in 2004 with revenues shooting up by $220 million as compared to 2003 same time. This brought the room revenue to about $2.73 billion. This profit does not include the revenues from restaurants, wedding services which very much form a large chunk of profit for a hotel. Hawaii is one of the biggest hotel market in US with an occupancy level of 77.4% only next to New York which has occupancy level of 81.1%. Hotels at Hawaii increase rates which led to lower occupancy but produced a net increase in room revenue. It was not only a great year for hotel industry but was also great for alternative accommodations too. Visitor arrival growth outpaced hotel room demand growth.
Hotels sold 18.1 million room nights, below the 2000 record of 19.5 million. In 2000, 65 percent of visitors stayed at hotels. In 2004, 60 percent did. Visitors optining for timeshare resorts also increase by 59.5% from year 2000. For cruise ships it increase by 90.8% from 2000. Overall a great year for hotel industry at Hawaii.

| Ski resorts at Hawaii is attracting everyone |

Resorts are latest buzz in Hawaii travel package through out US. It is attracting people with interest in spas, movie theater, retailers and great restaurants are drawing skiers and non skiers year round. The concept of a perfect holiday is being met at these resorts and people are staying in Hawaii resorts for a longer time now.
It has been found that ski resorts are attracting more people then non ski ones. Year round the business in the ski locations are able to attract hikers and mountain bikers in the summer but in the spring when the wheather is most unpredictable, the number of travellers falls a lot.As the new shopping areas are created, more travellers will visit the place in off-season i.e spring. Lets hope so.
